I had a talk with my animation teacher today, and we were talking about how hard it is to get into the US to get a job, which sucks since nearly all the best animation studios are there

Insomniac Games will always be my ultimate goal, but I was considering applying for Lionhead Studios (the people who made the Fable games) after Uni. One, for the experience and two, because it's actually in this country and isn't a bad company.
My teacher also said I should stop trying to dabble in EVERYTHING and focus my attention solely on my animation skills, and maybe one other skill (which would most likely be drawing/painting for me

). I was trying to learn modelling, lighting, storyboarding, EVERYTHING lol, because I thought you'd need all those skills, but apparently not (since I want to become an animator, and not a modeller, rigger, or anything like that).
So yeah! An update on shizz!
In my opinion (which shouldn't count for anything) it would be good to not entirely let go of the rest as they could come in handy. But it is good to focus on one or two.
And it would be awesome if you were a part of the great Insomniac staff...
