Why is this a DD?

If you've posted/are going to post a hate message on it, then I ask you to read this first.

Don't you get the message behind it? Don't you understand?

THIS. This is what I want you to see. To understand.

Why be bitter and dramatic over this ONE Daily Deviation? People complain because DDs are always "professional quality" and blah-de-blah. Now we have something obviously NOT of pro quality, and people STILL hate on the thing.

Lets break down the quote, shall we?

Having a warm heart and a great sense of humor: This means... LIGHTEN THE HELL UP GUYS. There are roughly 25 DDs featured a day, with 365 days in a year. Times those together, and you get... 9125 Daily Deviations a year. This DD... it's ONE out of NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE.

will always outshine being bitter and dramatic: All these haters piling onto one DD. You don't understand that this message is aimed at you. STOP being bitter that it got a DD. STOP being dramatic over it. Seeing the funny side of it (if you even get the message at all) is much better than being resentful over it. Because then you can sit back and enjoy seeing all the other haters doing exactly what the messages states not to do. And who cares if the guy hasn't logged in in a year? That's not what matters. The point here is: Enjoy art. Not necessarily for it's quality, but for the message it brings.

Art is about meaning. Art is about expressing ones self. Art is our life.

This is why we are here, on deviantART. To enjoy and showcase our art, not to hate on someone else. So please. See the light side of this DD.
