Second- I just finished watching all 21 episodes of the original Ginga. I honestly did not expect to stay watching it, I just checked out the first episode to see what it was, and I just... kept on going. It was great, despite having some cringe-worthy animation (it was an 80's cartoon though, and most likely low budget) and storyline ideas.
I then checked out the first episode with Weed in it, and my face fell like a kite. Granted, I haven't got through the story yet but my god, the animation style. I actually prefer the old 80's booby-dog style
This series seems alot brighter and childish compared to the extremely violent 80's series (yup, I watched the Japanese version). I'll watch it anyways before I completely judge it, but I'm already kinda put off by the whole "shiny" modern look to it. I prefer the old grittyness of the 80's version.
Aaanyways, that's about it from me now. I start Uni this month and will be moving in with !
GracieDrakey at Uni. Should be fun, we'll then have more time to work on ToA together
point is, I like the OVER ALL story of it, like you see the great grandfather riki, then Gin, then Weed, and then Weeds kids.... I think there is an admin for weeds kids but I know there is a small 3 chapter manga for them.... I think? i dont remember at all.... it HAS been about 2 years since I went on a ginga rampage
