EDIT- The original Sony cover is here: [link] . It isn't bad looking, if it were the cover of a new PS3 game instead of PS2 games ;P

The cover that Sony has used for the Ratchet and Clank HD collection is incredibly shitty, those guys must've rushed it by slapping a few images together from the PS3 games, which makes the cover really inconsistent with the old games. I know they are rushing the EU release, but I mean c'mon :/

So, I decided what the heck, I'll paint my own version and this is the result :D Yeah, I suck at painting robots and buildings but what ya gonna do lol. Not going back to this anymore, this killed me more than the huge RaC anniversary pic I'm working on xD

Watermarked for obvious reasons, some asshats seem to like making off with my work as of late, you can never be too careful :/

Gotta tottaly agree with your statment, the coverart is just plain rubbish for -HD- worse still the menu screen is ALL FOR ONE! Ranting aside though this is really amazing :) Im seriously thinking of printing this to cover the fugly EU cover art +fav

If they do decide to do the old games in the style of the Future series (fuller worlds, a lot to take in), then that would just make it even more awesome!

You make a good point it would be better if they would just make new covers rather than some bland backround with the box art of the other games on it

I am not very fond of the official cover neither. I don't like how Sony wants to rush so much with everything... but as long as the collection is great, then it is alright I guess.
Great cover, btw. You're quite good at painting lineless style :)

After looking at the cover you were talking about, I see what you mean. How did they screw that up? Tools of Destruction Ratchet on the cover of the original trilogy? What? :O

Your cover is much more fitting. :D

It probably was due to the fact that it would have been too expensive to get someone to paint a new Ratchet, the old pictures of Ratchet wouldn't have fitted the modern view of Ratchet, and they really were rushing to get this out, so grabbing a few images of new Ratchet they already had was the easiest way :P
